Here are some notes from an emotionally abusive mother (who was also abused emotionally and physically by her parents). These are things she said to me:

- You are always sleepy

- You invited me here.

- You always think of yourself.

- You should have told me...

- You change your words. I don't change my words.

- When you see people in the street you stop to talk to them. (She felt less important than the people I talked to on the street.)
