Don't Talk About It Anymore

I was just riding my bike past a young family. I noticed the troubled look on a little girl's face.

Her father was bending over, saying something to her. She looked like she was about to cry.

As I passed, this is what I heard..

The father asked in an impatient, firm and intimidating voice, "Yes or no?"

The girl answered so quietly I couldn't hear her reply.

But I head the father.

He said. "Ok. Now don't talk about it anymore."
