I thought of this expression when I was writing editorial number 63 and I thought of how David Caruso likes the idea of manufacturing feelings to help reach goals. David believes that it is emotionally intelligent to try to get yourself in a mood which will help you achieve your goals. I tend to think it is more helpful to society to listen to your feelings to help you set your goals.
So I did a check on google to see if anyone else was using those two words together. To my surprise, I found 224 results.
Here is some of what I found (as of April 4, 2006)

1 | http://www.gold-eagle.com/gold_digest/markus123197.html | This is about finance, the gold standard etc. Nothing about feelings really. |
2 | http://www.nobleednews.com/the_gordon_model.htm#Initiating%20the%20Gordon%20Model | This is a page on Thomas Gordon's
