Forced to Sing

My partner, P, was telling me she was forced to sing in school. She had to sing solo, in front of the whole class. And then the teacher graded her. I felt appalled to hear this and googled "forced to sing". There were over 1 million results.

I guess it makes sense. Forcing children to sing is one "effective" to teach children to obey, and perhaps to indoctrinate or brainwash.
